Uzès is truly a very special town located in the south of France.
It lies approximately 30 kilometres to the north of Nîmes in
the “Département” of the Gard, situated between
the Rhone River and the Cévennes mountains. What’s more,
the Mediterranean Sea is only just over an hour away by car.
Although fewer than 10 000 people live in Uzès, the town is
a thriving hub of history, art, music and culture. The area, which
is known as the “Uzège” is also renowned for its
fresh produce, wine, truffles and olive oil.
